Cartilage integrity

Chondroitin is an essential component of cartilage and is naturally produced by the body. It is also present in the bones, skin, cornea and membrane of the arteries. It contributes to the formation and maintenance of cartilage tissue. The role of this tissue is to ensure the retention of water in the cartilage and its elasticity. Chondroitin is present as chondroitin salts. Many studies use mainly chondroitin sulphate.
Chondroitin sulphate is an organic product that can be assimilated by the horse. It participates in the regeneration, repair and maintenance of the integrity of articular surfaces stressed by repeated exercises.
CHONDROITINE SULFATE ULTRA PURE is composed of 90% chondroitin sulphate. It is particularly recommended for athlete horses and horses prone to cartilage disorders.
